Cookie & Browser Storage Policy

Smorio may use cookies or similar browser storage to keep a user signed in, complete security checks, remember necessary page state, and operate account features. Razorpay, Google Sign-In, Cloudflare, or other providers may set their own cookies when their services are used. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in, checkout, scanner state, or other account features from working.

1. What Cookies and Browser Storage Are

Cookies are small values a website or service provider stores through the browser. Websites may also use local or session storage for page state or preferences. The exact items present can depend on the page, browser, signed-in state, and third-party feature being used.

2. Smorio Service Functions

Smorio may use cookies or browser storage for functions such as:

  • Maintaining a signed-in Studio session.
  • Completing account, form, and anti-abuse security checks.
  • Remembering temporary workflow state needed by a page.
  • Supporting scanner or playback state through the browser where the implementation uses browser storage.
  • Diagnosing errors and protecting service infrastructure.

This page does not claim that every listed purpose always creates a separate cookie. The implementation can change as Smorio and its providers change.

3. Third-Party Providers

When you use Google Sign-In, Razorpay checkout, Cloudflare security, embedded media, or another provider feature, that provider may set or read cookies or browser storage under its own terms and privacy policy. Smorio does not control every provider cookie or its lifetime.

4. Advertising

Smorio does not currently operate a third-party advertising-cookie program on the Studio Dashboard. This statement does not prevent service providers from using fraud-prevention, security, measurement, or operational data as described in their own policies.

5. Browser Controls

Most browsers let you remove or block cookies and site storage. Doing so may sign you out or prevent registration, Google Sign-In, checkout, Studio Dashboard, support, scanner, or playback functions from working correctly.

Browser permission controls for the camera are separate from cookies and browser storage. The Smorio scanner cannot use the camera until the browser and device allow it.
